Unlikely 70s Chicago Superhero Gets A Podcast

The year was 1966 and the country was changing. The Civil Rights Movement was in high gear. Opposition to the war in Vietnam was growing.

From this sea of change, one man, destined to become a legend in the radio business, created a character that still makes people laugh more than half a century later. That man is Dick Orkin. His invention is Chickenman.

Orkin joins us to talk about reviving Chickenman for a new generation.

This segment was produced by Jason Marck.
