Ray, a black and white pup that stole the hearts of WBEZ staffers — and our followers on social media — has been adopted.
This was part of an effort by PAWS Chicago to get as many animals as possible adopted. The city’s largest no-kill shelter was filled to capacity last weekend, so it waived some adoption fees.
Mark Lukas, a volunteer and spokesperson for PAWS Chicago, joined the Morning Shift Friday, and he’s back to give listeners an update on the situation.
