Transportation officials are considering those and other modifications as they plan for the future of Lake Shore Drive between Grand and Hollywood avenues, according to the Chicago Tribune.
There’s no set date for reconstructing LSD, but officials say the project is expected to cost between $2 and $3 billion.
The ongoing plans are a joint effort between the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Chicago Department of Transportation and the Chicago Park District.
