In a tight race, candidates like to bring out “the big guns”. Celebrities from the world of politics and entertainment are trotted out to get voters excited and donors to loosen their wallets. But do they have the desired effect? Does anyone care if Martin Sheen or Chris Christie thinks a particular candidate is the right person from the job?
