What It’s Like to Be LGBT on an Evangelical College Campus

A group at the nation’s premier Evangelical Christian college just won a grant to support gay and lesbian students and alumni. OneWheaton is an LGBT advocacy group that’s independent of west suburban Wheaton College. OneWheaton plans to use part of the money to host a discussion on what the Bible says about homosexuality. The chairperson of One Wheaton, Lora Wiens, joins to talk about what it’s like for LGBT students to attend a college, where homosexual behavior can get them expelled. Wiens is a clinical psychologist in Barrington. (Flickr/navets)
