The White House launches the “It’s On Us” campaign Friday to address sexual assault on college campuses. This comes after the Obama administration established the White House Task Force to Protect Students from Sexual Assault earlier this year as more students were coming forward with stories of assault, and alleging a lack of response from universities. The campaign has tagged student leaders from universities to join the initiative, including six from right here in Illinois.
