When people head just over the bridge on the Skyway to Whiting, Indiana, they see the BP Refinery. The town in Northwest Indiana uses the refinery’s opening as its official birthday. That means this year marks Whiting’s 125th anniversary, and they’re celebrating the milestone with a parade, the Jesse White Tumblers and Mickey and Minnie.
