Wrecking ball set to strike in Marktown

On Monday, ten homes in Northwest Indiana’s historic Marktown are scheduled for demolition. Marktown’s planned worker community is often compared to Chicago’s Pullman. It has a place on the National Register of Historic Places. It also sits next to a BP oil refinery and BP wants to extend their reach. WBEZ’s Michael Puente reports from Marktown on what he’s seeing.
