On Monday, ten homes in Northwest Indiana’s historic Marktown are scheduled for demolition. Marktown’s planned worker community is often compared to Chicago’s Pullman. It has a place on the National Register of Historic Places. It also sits next to a BP oil refinery and BP wants to extend their reach. WBEZ’s Michael Puente reports from Marktown on what he’s seeing.
