Don Drummond was arguably the finest trombonist to come out of

Don Drummond
Jamaica. He started in jazz and found his way to ska. That’s where he made his mark. But he had a tragic life and ended up dying in prison. A new book covers Drummond’s music and life. Tonight on Radio M, local author Heather Augustyn stops by to talk about her latest book Don Drummond: The Genius & Tragedy of the World’s Greatest Trombonist.

We also get some new music courtesy of the latest release from the Red Hot Organization; this one spotlights Fela. Also, a chicha cover of a Clash tune, and a whole lot of sounds from all over the world.
