Robbie Fulks has always admired the music of Linda Gail Lewis and it turns out, Lewis, who’s the younger sister of rock and roll pioneer Jerry Lee Lewis, felt the same about the Chicago singer songwriter. They worked together on a couple of songs that appeared on two of
Lewis’ albums but now the two have recorded an entire album that features their luscious twangy harmonies put to the clever songwriting of Fulks. The result is Wild! Wild! Wild!, an album hat features country, boogie woogie piano, some blues and swing and of course those beautiful two part harmonies. They talk about making music together and Linda’s wild side during her teens years.
