Last time we sat down with Gov. Bruce Rauner, the state legislature was bouncing around proposals for the so-called “Grand Bargain.” That plan never made it to the Governor’s desk, after many Republicans didn’t support it.

On Friday, Gov. Rauner again joined Morning Shift to talk listener calls. He talked about the budget impasse and blamed pressure from special interest groups on Illinois house Democrats for that failure.
