IL Attorney General Butts Heads With U.S. Ed Secretary On Number Of Issues

U.S. Education Secretary Betsy DeVos has been a polarizing figure since being named to the post by President Trump. Illinois’ Attorney General Lisa Madigan has been outspoken in her opposition to DeVos’ stances on a number of issues, including civil rights for students, and sexual assault policies on college campuses.

Now, Madigan has joined with 18 other attorney’s general suing DeVos over the elimination of Obama-era reforms regarding for-profit colleges.
