Chicago voters head back to the polls in just over three months, this time to pick the next mayor of Chicago and there are a lot of candidates to choose from.The latest to enter the race is a woman who was just re-elected Illinois State Comptroller. Though the possibility of a mayoral run was in the air for several weeks, Susana Mendoza still surprised some voters with her decision, which came just a eight days after her election win. She talked why she’s  running, what issues she would champion as mayor of Chicago, and how she plans on tackling the city’s growing financial problems.
