Housing Advocates Stage Sit-In Outside Mayor Lightfoot’s City Hall Office

Members of the Obama CBA Coalition staged a sit-in to protest the mayor’s proposal around affordable housing near the planned Obama Presidential Center. Advocates say the center will force longtime residents out of gentrifying parts of Woodlawn and the surrounding areas.
