One day after President Trump delivered his first State of the Union speech, Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner gave his fourth State of the State address in Springfield. The address comes about two months ahead of the gubernatorial primary where Gov. Rauner will face off with his Republican challenger Rep. Jeanne Ives.

WBEZ’s Jenn White sits down with state politics reporters Dave McKinney and Tony Arnold to break down the main takeaways of the speech. We also hear from Democrat and state Rep. Kelly Cassidy for her take.
