Lloyd Bachrach is a motivational speaker who frequently talks to high school students and employees at companies. Earlier this year Lloyd came to the StoryCorps booth in the Chicago Cultural Center with his daughter, Marissa. 

They were celebrating Lloyd’s birthday, and Marissa’s start of freshman year of college. The two talked about Lloyd’s disability, his joy at being part of the 1996 Paralympic Games and how his disability has affected both their lives.
