When Gina Ramirez and her sister Giuliana were children, the factories surrounding their home on the Southeast Side started to close. Friends moved away, as families looked for work in other places, including Indiana. But Gina and Giuliana stayed, as did their family. This week on StoryCorps, they talk about the push and pull of life in their beloved corner of the city.
