For Liz and Graeme Wilson, visiting the StoryCorps booth at the Chicago Cultural Center came with a purpose: They wanted to share a story that could help others feel less alone.
Exactly one year earlier, their daughter, Claire, was stillborn.
“It never gets to be normal,” Graeme said. “It just keeps being kind of surreal.”
On what would have been her first birthday, Liz and Graeme reflected on her arrival and spoke about looking forward to the birth of a new baby.
