Rodney Lewis and Evan Johnson first met at an organization that works with homeless people.

It’s called Inspiration Corporation.

In this week’s StoryCorps, Evan asks Rodney about his life story, beginning with his childhood.

Rodney says his parents didn’t want anything to do with him, so his uncle took him in when he was young.
