Last fall, StoryCorps and public radio tried something a little crazy, and it worked.
More than 100,000 Americans took part in a drive to preserve the stories of an entire generation over a single weekend.
This year, we’re at it again.
During Thanksgiving, we’re asking history teachers across the country to have their students record an interview with an elder using the StoryCorps app.
It’s called the Great Thanksgiving Listen.
