The FAA introduced new proposed rules around the commercial use of drones. While they would keep Amazon from delivering you packages any time soon, the rules surprised some by how lenient they are. It may soon be legal, with some restrictions, to use drones to photograph a wedding, get aerial video of an event or monitor crops. To explain more about what these rules mean is Matt Waite, a professor of journalism at the University of Nebraska and founder of the Drone Journalism Lab.
