Pending legislation could provide legal options for hacking victims

The details are still fuzzy about who did the hacking of celebrity nude photos and how they did it. But today on Tech Shift, we tackle the legal questions at the heart of this scandal. What could you do if someone stole and published sensitive images of you online? Right now in Illinois, your only option would be to file a civil lawsuit. But there’s a push to change that.
