The UK is joining the competition to get driverless cars on the road. They’re hoping that could be as soon as soon as next year. Right now, British cities are competing to host tests the cars on their streets. It’s a 16 million dollar program to advance the technology. But, as the BBC’s Rob Broomby reports, there could be some resistance to the idea.
