A new show called Since I Suppose is using audience participation and technology as part of the storytelling experience. The performance is “site-specific,” since it is dependent on the space it’s presented in and doesn’t take place in a traditional theater space. Suzanne Kersten, co-creator of Since I Suppose and Heather Schmucker, associate producer for the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, which is presenting the show, discuss what it’s like to present a “site-specific” play.
