Tech Shift: Using tech to avoid the Thanksgiving gridlock

According to AAA travel, more than 46 million Americans will take to the roads over Thanksgiving weekend as they head out to spend the holiday with family and friends. And that’s just the people driving more than 50 miles from their homes. AAA is forecasting it will be the highest volume of Thanksgiving traffic since 2007. Jim Bak is a traffic analyst at INRIX, a tech firm that crunches data on traffic and forecasts where the trouble spots will be. He joins us on the line to talk about what travelers should expect this coming Thanksgiving weekend.
