The Maker Lab at Harold Washington Library is home to a myriad of high-tech manufacturing machines. Visitors get a chance to learn to use a 3D printer, use their laser cutter and try out other machinery. The classes and materials are free. Host Niala Boodhoo and WBEZ’s Tricia Bobeda, went to the Maker Lab to make some things of their own.
