Twitter and Facebook hit year-end rough patch

Two social media behemoths have been grabbing the headlines, but not in a good way. Twitter has been seeing trouble on both the business side and the customer side. Yesterday, thousands of users were prompted to log-out of their Twitter app and weren’t able to log back in. Twitter blames a bug. This comes on the heels of mounting pressure for the CEO to resign for lack of leadership. And Facebook is feeling the heat after their year-in-review feature ran into sensitive territory.
