This week was our Mid-Month Mash Up, where Richard Steele checked in with a couple of our favorite local journalists and bloggers. He got their perspectives on the recent local and national news headlines that caught their attention. They shared what they thought was the good news, the bad news, and the news that made them go WTF?!
For that we were joined by:
• Glenn Reedus, Independent Journalist at Reedus-Swope Media Group
• Tony Arnold, WBEZ’s Illinois Politics Reporter
Then Richard talked to about the legacy of B.B. King with Leroy Phillips who worked in the record distribution business for fifty years. Leroy shared a few of his B.B. King stories. B.B. King passed away Friday at the age of 89.
The Barber Shop Show airs on Fridays and Saturdays at Noon on 91.1FM. In addition, the show broadcasts on Sundays at 3pm on WBEZ 91.5FM
