On this week's installment, we were joined by Tosin Morohunfola, Francis Guinan and Senuwell Smith, members of the cast of "Pullman Porter Blues." The play just opened at the Goodman Theatre and takes a look at the lives and legacies of the Pullman Porters through music and drama.
Also, Dr. Lyn Hughes, founder of the A. Philip Randolph Pullman Porter Museum gives us a glimpse of the history and lives of Pullman Porters, as well as their connections to Black Chicagoans.
The "Barber Shop Show" airs on Fridays at noon on 90.7FM and 89.5FM. You can also stream live at www.vocalo.org.
