Backyard Chickens Forced To Fly Their Suburban Coop

The law in the City of Wheaton prohibits keeping livestock in the city for more than 90 days per year.
The Wheaton City Council has declined to change a local code that would have allowed five hens being kept in a backyard by one Fantozzi family. The family says they asked the City Council to reconsider but in the meantime, they'll find new homes for the hens.
