In the midst of all the news about Rahm Emanuel being removed from the mayoral ballot, one thing is still in question: the actual ballot.

“We’re going to press with one less candidate for mayor,” said Langdon D. Neal, Chairman of the Chicago Board of Election Commissioners in an email.

The City Board of Elections has already printed ballots which include Rahm Emanuel’s name. They are military ballots and ballots for overseas residents. Early voting begins next Monday. Emanuel said his lawyers will ask the Illinois Supreme Court to stay the Appellate Court’s decision, keeping him on the ballot for the time being.
