Daily Rehearsal: Did you miss 'Everybody Was Comedy Fighting'?

1. Here are some photos of Cirque Due Soleil's Ovo at the United Center on opening night. It looks sort of like a Halloween party for insects.

2. Not everybody goes to baseball games for the music, but I bet some people do! White Sox organist Nancy Faust has retired, and her replacement, Lori Moreland, is learning the lay of the land. Don't be worried about the change, because the Sox aren't; "There's so many different ways to entertain fans, and though we may revamp things we will always keep the core essence of Chicago White Sox baseball. The organ is part of that, and Lori, with her effervescent personality, is an excellent choice to carry on that tradition," said Nichole Manning, senior director of game operations.

3. Brian Babylon hosted Everybody Was Comedy Fighting last night at Jokes and Notes. He was joined by Danny Kallis, Beth Stelling, Marty Derosa, Calvin Evans, Robert Hines, Kevin White, Marilee Monroe and Aaron Weaver, and it seems that even last nights surprise thunderstorm didn't keep the laughs down.

4. Check out Entertaining Julia, a free variety show hosted by Beth Stelling and The Puterbaugh Sisters at Town Hall Pub on Sunday nights at 9:30. "There is probably no better free show in the city (especially on Sunday nights)," says The A.V. Club.

5. Starting next week, The Neapolitans present their Off-Chekhov Festival at the Viaduct, which consists of four different short plays. They'll be The Teacher, The Bully, What You Wanted and Wolf and Burns, all of which are based off of other plays, making it become some sort of play within a play within a play.
