The revue modernizes Sondheim’s work a bit, as the actors sing songs in what’s supposed to be a West Loop apartment. It’s directed by Brenda Didier, with music direction by Austin Cook. This season, they’ll also be doing tick, tick…BOOM and A Catered Affair.

5. The Chicago Human Rhythm Project started its 21st annual Rhythm World festival of tap and percussive arts yesterday. In March, the Project found a new home courtesy of a grant provided by the MacArthur Foundation. There are a variety of events in the next two weeks, including residencies and a variety of classes.Questions? Tips? Email kdries@wbez.org.
