Attention procrastinators, if you haven’t thought about what you’re getting your significant other yet, Schaefer’s Wines, Food and Spirits in Skokie is offering a Saturday wine tasting with champagnes, dessert wines, wines that pair with chocolates and other romantic pairings to mark the special day.

The wine tasting is from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is free of charge.

Continue your wine education on‚ Monday, Feb. 15, at D.O.C Wine Bar. Sommelier Greg Sorrell will lead his monthly wine tasting featuring wines from three diverse regions. This week’s theme is: “What do American, Australian and French wines have in common?” Wines to be featured include:

• M. Chapoutier Petite Rouche Crozes-Hermitages
• Black Chook Shiraz/Viognier
• Grant Burge “Holy Trinity”
• Penner-Ash Syrah
• The Ojai Vineyards Syrah

The tasting costs $35 and is from 7 — 9 p.m. Reservations are not required.
