Of all the careers that have been launched by This American Life, Sarah Vowell’s may be the most interesting. Besides possibly holding the record for TAL affiliated writers appearing on Late Night with David Letterman, she also holds the distinction of providing the voice for a Pixar character (Violet in The Incredibles). She also seems to be one of the School of The Art Institute of Chicago’s favorite alumni and The Daily Show‘s new Senior Historical Context Correspondent.

She’s back at WBEZ Thursday to talk with Steve Edwards about her newest book Unfamiliar Fishes. Jon Langford joins her for the interview as well as a performance at UP Comedy Club Thursday night.
