Listen to Sonoi talk to Tony Sarabia on Eight Forty-Eight

Perhaps it was a bit of a warm-up to their album release party this Thursday at the Hideout; Sonoi, in their current incarnation, performed their song “Cotton” in it’s entirety on Eight Forty-Eight, as well as provided music for the whole show. Why the current incarnation? Because drummer Pierce Doerr is leaving to focus on his passion for yoga.

Adam Busch (on guitar and vocals) and Ryan Hembrey (on bass guitar and keyboards) will forge on though — they’ve been playing together since joining the band Manishevitz in the early oughts. The album Tropics of Holland is out this week.
