Washington Post Editor's new book shares secrets for solo cooking


Joe Yonan is tired of hearing people bitch and moan about cooking for "just" themselves. The Food and Travel Editor at the Washington Post says singles too often order take-out, and give up on cooking at home, but his new book, Serve Yourself, Nightly Adventures in Cooking for One, challenges singles all over the country to plan a little bit ahead, and feed yourself delicious food in the appropriate portions (without wasting half cans of everything). I met up with Yonan at a book signing/taco eating party at Big Star recently, to talk about his new book.
