If you’re feeling a little saturated after National Drink Wine Day and the seemingly endless number of wine tastings throughout Chicago recently, you might want to check out Salute Wine Bar & Café’s “Casa di Vino” (House of Wine?) which will feature a tasting of limoncello. For $25, you can sample Salute Wine Bar’s three housemade limoncello flavors paired with a menu featuring:

  • Red leaf frisee salad with tangy goat cheese, laced with a pomegranate vinaigrette, finished with a fresh‚ lemon-pomegranate cello
  • Braised pork belly glazed with a blood orange-vanilla beurre blanc, with sautéed Brussels sprouts and pancetta followed by a‚ blood orange-vanilla cello
  • Traditional cannoli served with a‚ pistachio créme cello
  • Amaretto-coffee ice cream served with an over-sized biscotti and‚ mocha cello
