Making Media Connections is an annual conference where hundreds of community leaders, nonprofit executives, journalists, independent publishers and media relations experts gather to promote news that matters.  Listen in as media experts and the general public gather together to discuss getting communities’ important stories told.

The first of two morning panels recorded, this focus on Editorial Boards aimed to address: How does an organization present its issues to persuade news outlets to take a position on them?  The panel included: Bruce Dold of the Chicago Tribune, Tracy Baim of Windy City News, Dan Haley of the Wednesday Journal, and John Zimmerman of the Daily Herald.  The panel was moderated by Valerie Denney of Valerie Denney Communications.
