An aging hit man and an old school cop are trying to prove everyone around them wrong before they make a clean break. That, in brief, is the plot of the new film “Chicago Overcoat.”
“Chicago Overcoat” premieres this week on cable. The cast includes actors Katherine Narducci of “The Sopranos,” Mike Starr of “Goodfellas,” Armand Assante, and Stacy Keach.
It’s produced by the local company Beverly Ridge Pictures and was shot largely in Chicago.
Last year WBEZ’s Richard Steele talked with associate producer and casting director Chris Charles and actor Danny Goldring as the film debuted at the Chicago International Film Fest.
The film premieres on Showtime 2 this week.
