It might appear that Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and football star Tom Brady have nothing in common. But maybe they do. Both were party to collective bargaining agreements they moved to end. In theory, they were setting out to negotiate themselves a more favorable deal.
The concept of collective bargaining is getting a lot of buzz. But how well do we understand how it functions? And does it work the same for state employees and NFL players?
To find out, Eight Forty-Eight was joined by Richard Epstein, the Peter and Kristen Bedford Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution. He is also the Laurence A. Tisch Professor of Law at New York University.
