The stereotypes of women as nurturers, builders, and guardians (or gardeners) of connection is based in a goodly amount of reality. And in the absence of such connection where would we be? With twenty years of building and sustaining community, and becoming a place for woman artists to come together and shine, Woman Made Gallery relies on old friends as well as new to carry it forward. The first reading of 2012 featured writers in their 20s. This reading includes poets whose involvement with the gallery spans 10 or more years: Allison Joseph, Maureen Seaton, Cin Salach, Pamela Miller, Mars Caulton, and former literary curator, Lauren Levato.
