In collaboration with Science Chicago, the Goodman Theater presented a reading of Tom Stoppard’s Hapgood, concerning a female British spymaster whose quest to discover the source of an information leak to the Russians is hampered by the whirl of quantum physics, double agents and triple-crosses. The reading was followed by a discussion with featured scientist Peter Freund from the University of Chicago.
A short overview of the performance that preceded this conversation is included at the beginning of this recording.
Recorded Monday, June 08, 2009 at Goodman Theatre.
