The Raven Theatre in association with the Indo-American Heritage Museum presents a staged reading of “Gandhi Marg” written by Anita Chandwaney and directed by Kaiser Z. Ahmed.

In a small apartment near Chicago’s bustling Devon Avenue — known as “Gandhi Marg” — a sister’s visit to a newlywed couple sets off fireworks. Indian immigrants wrestle with love and marriage, tradition and assimilation, art and commerce in Anita Chandwaney’s intimate portrait of Chicago’s hub of Indian culture.

Additionally, there will be refreshments served before the reading and a brief talk with the playwright and director held afterward.
