A summer camp works to move refugee girls forward

It's time for our Global Activism segment. Each Thursday, we highlight a person who decided to make the world a better place.

And we often think of summer camp as a place for children to relax and get away from the world. But for the group GirlForward, summer camp is a place to empower.

GirlForward is a Chicago-based non-profit that runs camps for refugee girls, focusing on mentorship, education and leadership. The Executive Director of GirlForward, Blair Brettschneider joins Worldview to explain the group's work.
