And we often think of summer camp as a place for children to relax and get away from the world. But for the group GirlForward, summer camp is a place to empower.
GirlForward is a Chicago-based non-profit that runs camps for refugee girls, focusing on mentorship, education and leadership. The Executive Director of GirlForward, Blair Brettschneider joins Worldview to explain the group’s work.
