But conscious-style emcees like Rhymefest and Phenom are concerned about the message.  We’re joined by Rhymefest, Pastor Jackson, Phenom and others for the conversation.  Plus, we’ll take calls from our listeners.

Sam Hudzik: 50 Wards in 50 Weekdays: Political reporter Sam Hudzik has travelled all throughout Chicago, to interview one resident in each ward.  Not politicians or community leaders. Regular folks – playing basketball in the park, watering their lawns, grabbing a cup of coffee.

Chef Taylor: Chef Cary Taylor was mentored by Graham Elliot Bowles, cooked alongside Paul Kahan at Blackbird and became executive chef of a Bucktown/Wicker Park hotspot by the time he was 30. Both the Chicago Reader and Time Out Chicago named The Southern Mac ‘N Cheese Truck the best new truck of the year.
