On Thursday’s Afternoon Shift, we’re featuring some of our favorite segments from the show’s first 100 episodes.

It’s now officially “beach reads” season, so we’ll discuss of some great new summer books with Stanley G. Robertson, Mary Dempsey and Al Gini.

Kishi Bashi performed live in studio back in March, and he’ll be back in Chicago for Lollapalooza in August.

New York Times reporter Charles Duhigg discusses his book “The Power of Habit”, as well as how habits are made (and broken.)

And finally, since this summer will have the more cars on the road than any other time of the year, we’ll be discussing Ford Motor Company and their CEO Alan Mullaly with Detroit News reporter Bryce Hoffman.
