Ebony Fashion Show The Chicago History Museum has a new exhibit on the Ebony Fashion Fair, a traveling black charity fashion show that ran from 1958 to 2009. The show was in large part the work of Eunice Johnson, of Ebony and Jet magazines fame. It featured designers from Yves Saint Laurent to Oscar de la Renta. The exhibit, “Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair,” runs through January. WBEZ’s Alison Cuddy and Natalie Moore share their impressions of the show. Ramblers As we head into the second weekend of March Madness, we remember that 50 years ago, against all odds, the Loyola Ramblers of Chicago won the NCAA men’s basketball title over Cincinnati, then the two-time defending champions.
