Everybody Dance Now!: Everybody Dance Now! Chicago was created out of the inspiration from the national organization, which was founded in Santa Barbara some seven years ago, as an outlet for young people amidst increasing gang violence in the community. Much like the national non-profit, it is entirely youth led, and strives to provide free weekly dance classes as well as nutrition education, service learning, cultural programming, and performance opportunities to underserved youth.
