Alderman Proposes Speed Bumps, Traffic Circles As Partial Answer To Gang Violence
Chicago Alderman Ray Lopez is hoping that speed bumps and traffic circles can help stall rising gun violence in his ward.
Lopez says those barriers will make would-be shooters think twice about bringing their conflict to his neighborhood.
Lopez is spending about $350,000 on speed bumps and traffic circles in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.
